Logo Callenbach

Many years this logo was connected to the publishing business.
As usual in that time, the initials were formed to a device: Goet, Frisch, Claer (Good, Fresh, Clear), to which the literal signification of the family name would not be strange (Callen-bach = steen-beek / stone-brook).
Another symbolism in the logo is: the fluff-balls of the dandelion, from which the seeds would be spread by the wind.

'Zóo toch immers is het werk van den uitgever: naar alle windstreken verspreidt zich het door hem gekozen schoon en goed'. 1)
